Bergren, Iris L. passed away peacefully while in Florida on March 26, 2021. Iris was 95 and born in Kimball, Mn. to Ada and Vene Phillips on June 26, 1925. After graduating from High School, Iris moved to Minneapolis to attend Business School and it was in Minneapolis she met her husband Bob. Soon after Bob and Iris were married, they had the foresight to build a home directly across what was once a swampy 60 acre park so their kids would have a place to roam, play baseball, ice skate, and just be kids. Tha t home now facing today's beautiful Pamela Park was so full of love, life, and fun that it has now been passed along to their daughter, Patty (Scott). While Iris and Bob loved their life in Edina watching kids play baseball in the park, they spent most sum mer weekends at their cabin near Kimball, MN. Their winters were spent at their condo in St Petersburg, FL. Although Bob passed away at 79 years young, Iris continued to live a full healthy life in both Edina and St. Petersburg. In addition to her love for playing the slots at Mystic Lake, she treasured her travels with her daughters visiting Paris, Spain, Alaska, Hawaii, Las Vegas as well as other destinations. Iris and Bob had 4 children; Jim Bergren (Beth), Tom Bergren (Jan), Kathy Bergren (Taylor), Patt y Armstrong (Scott). She is survived by Kathy and Patty as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren all of whom had so much respect and love for her. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and entire family. May Mom rest in peace with Dad, Tom and Jim. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
