About this event
Much like the tree that roots in the soil and stretches towards the sky, we must regularly think about the impermanence of life – reflecting on our roots (the past) and looking towards the sky (the future.)
In this mindful art-based activity, we will be guided through the process of drawing a Legacy Tree using gentle prompts inspired by the common image of a tree, to invite remembrance, reflection, and contemplation about end of life. Drawing a Legacy Tree is a beautiful way to honor someone you love who has died or to build deep personal connections to someone who is still living, while reflecting on what it means to lose someone you care about. It invites further healing through the work of creating and through reflection on the work once done.
