October (PM) Trolley Tour

Hop aboard a historic trolley and enjoy a guided tour of Lakewood’s 250 acres of park-like beauty and storied history. We’ll explore Lakewood’s history from our landscape to our beautiful buildings, dive into the stories of some of Lakewood’s notable residents, and see artistic monuments and sculpture.

Where to meet

This tour will start at the beautiful and historic Lakewood Memorial Chapel. Signs will be posted directing you to the event location or click here for GPS navigation through Google Maps.

Parking

Parking is available on any of the roads inside Lakewood’s gates unless otherwise noted with a no parking sign. Lakewood does not have an onsite parking lot – it is street parking only.

If you choose to take public transit, there is a bus stop just outside of Lakewood’s front gate, then a short walk from the gate to the chapel.

Bike parking is also available at a bike rack near the front gate at 36th/Hennepin. Please do not lock bikes to trees.

Accessibility Information

• The trolleys are wheelchair accessible. Please email events@lakewoodcemetery.org to let us know if you need wheelchair access for your trolley tour, so we can make sure the wheelchair seats ready and available when you arrive!
• Tour guides will wear a voice amplifier so all attendees are able to hear the tour.

Restrooms

Restrooms will be available at the beginning and end of the tour in the chapel. Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of the chapel, we do not have wheelchair accessible restrooms available.

Tickets at the Door

If an event is not sold out, tickets may be available at the door for $20 per person. At this time we only accept cash or check at the door.

Refunds

Ticket holders can receive a full refund up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event. If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please email events@lakewoodcemetery.org.

Cancellations

If Lakewood needs to cancel this event for any reason, all attendees will be alerted via email and this page will be updated. In the event of a cancellation, all attendees will receive a full refund. Please make sure you provide the correct email at registration. We also encourage all attendees to check this page before heading to the event for any updates or cancellations.
