Many families visit Lakewood on Mother’s Day to remember and celebrate the amazing women who have influenced our lives, including our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters and friends, now laid to rest at Lakewood.

Stop by Lakewood and pick up a pink carnation in honor of those mother’s and mother figures who are missed and remembered on this special day.

A symbol of love and strength

Pink carnations are the official flower of Mother’s Day, and a symbol of the purity, strength and endurance of a mother’s love. We invite you to stop by the Lakewood Memorial Chapel for a complimentary pink carnation on Mother’s Day. Flowers will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (while supplies last).

Tie a ribbon on our Living Memory Tree

Take a moment to reflect, and add a ribbon to our Living Memory Tree, a collective display of remembrance and love.
