We're thrilled to join over 110 venues participating in Doors Open Minneapolis, a new event that celebrates our city's heritage.

Doors Open Minneapolis is a weekend-long event that gives the public free, behind-the-scenes access to over 110 buildings in the City of Minneapolis that are architecturally, culturally, or socially significant.

From theaters to private clubs, sports complexes and business hubs, Doors Open Minneapolis gives visitors the

opportunity to have meaningful conversations with the people who make these venues the marvels that they are. It's a chance to venture into new neighborhoods, learn the stories of Minneapolis’ buildings, and experience the rich and diverse cultures of our community.

At Lakewood, you'll be able to explore our architectural treasures and our 250 acres of ornate gardens, scenic vistas and old growth trees. Discover magnificent funerary monuments, extraordinary gardens and topiaries, and undisturbed wildlife in the heart of the city.
