More than half of all Americans are now choosing cremation, and even more in Minnesota — probably including people you know. Why is cremation so popular? How can you make meaningful memories? What’s possible beyond an urn on a shelf?
Join us for a conversation at Lakewood about cremation, including the process, answers to common questions and what to consider when choosing cremation.
After the session, you can choose to take a tour of Lakewood's historic and new crematories, located in the lower level of the beautiful Lakewood Chapel, where more than 1,400 cremations are performed each year.
This free event takes place in the reception area of our Garden Mausoleum. To find this building inside the cemetery, take a sharp right after entering our front gates and look for the modern-looking building about a half-block down the road. You can park along the road in front of the building.
