Dreier, Annette K. age 61 of Minneapolis passed on 10/16/20 from Lupus complications. For many years, she dealt with systemic effects of the disease with calm grace. Annette was born in Oregon, Ohio January 3rd 1959 (Capricorn) on the same day that Alaska officially became the 49th state. She and her spouse Carrie were happy to travel to Alaska in 2015 on their first of five Olivia cruises. On August 1st 2013, after 20 years together, they were one of many grateful couples married as part of a large celebr ation at City Hall in Minneapolis on the night that same-sex marriage became legal in Minnesota. The very cool Mayor R.T. Rybak officiated and dear friends Karen and John were witnesses. Annette was a 26-year employee of the Wedge Community Co-op, first in the deli and then in the accounting department. Her loyalty, quick wit and compassion touched many, including her incredible co-workers. An avid and knowledgeable birdwatcher, Annette was often seen looking through binoculars. She was preceded in death by parents Lillian and Alden and brother Freddie and is survived by spouse Carrie Magnuson and family, along with sisters Gina, Martha, Terri, Mary Sue, Joan, brother Tom and their families, in addition to all who loved her. A celebration of Annette's life w ill be held this coming spring at Lakewood Cemetery, where she and the birds especially bonded.
