Our extraordinary commitment to our gardens and grounds is supported by one of the largest cemetery greenhouse operations in the country. Our staff grows and plants more than 95,000 flowers each season for the enjoyment of the community and the families of those memorialized here.

Visit the Welcome Center to purchase a fresh flower bouquet to place on your loved one’s memorial site.
The Welcome Center is open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Public Gardens
Our greenhouse staff plants dozens of formal flower beds and hundreds of urns each spring. Most beds feature the same flowers year after year—reflecting our commitment to tradition and history. In spring, red tulips are visible on either side of the front gate at the 36th Street entrance. In summer, Lakewood’s signature cannas decorate the entrance.
