Sandra Elisabeth Heiss of Farmington passed away peacefully September 25, 2018. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and Noni to her precious 9 grandchildren, who were the most important persons in her life. Sandra was preceded in death by her father Frank Simi. Sandra is survived by her mother Milena Simi, sisters Judy Swantek (Ted) and Joann Lademan (Paul) husband Michael Heiss Sr., son Michael Heiss Jr (Nicole Heiss), daughters Elisabeth Ricci (Stephen Ricci) Jennifer Heiss (Jake Halbert), and 9 beautiful grand children: Brayden, Bailey, Avery, Dominic, Caleb, Riley, Hannah, Calvin and Owen. Born in Detroit Sandi grew up in East Detroit attended East Detroit HS and Macomb Community College. She worked at Detroit Memorial Hospital several years and in May 1979 married Mike. Sandi was a homemaker raising Mike Jr. Elisabeth and Jennifer and oversaw three job transfers in a 12 year span with the family eventually residing in Apple Valley in 1997. Sandi was passionate when it came to Holidays/ Birthdays/ Christmas/ or anytime the family could get together to Laugh Love and Live. Halloween was especially fun as the grandchildren would trick or treat in the house. Moving from closed door to closed doo r the kids line up to Trick or Treat awaiting whatever goodie or goblin may answer the door. Ask Uncle Stephen about the horse-head! Sandi had a soothing smile and loving disposition, her “Angel Eyes” were the best! She is missed and will be remembered forever by the Family and Friends that were privileged to have been close and loved by her Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1154 Seminole Ave., West St. Paul, MN. Visitation with rosary Monday October 1 2018 at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave. Apple Valley from 2:00 to 8:0 0pm and one hour prior to Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers please donate to Gillette Children’s Hospital
