Honoring Mother’s Day 2025
May 10, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Many families visit Lakewood on Mother’s Day weekend to remember and celebrate the amazing women who have influenced our lives, including our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, daughters and friends, now laid to rest at Lakewood.
Visit Lakewood on the Saturday before Mother’s Day for a complimentary white rose, a symbol of love and remembrance for a father who has passed. Flowers will be available in the Welcome Center from 8 AM until 4:30 PM (while supplies last). We will also have ribbons available for our Living Memory Tree.
A symbol of love and strength
Stop by Lakewood and pick up a pink carnation in honor of mothers and mother figures who are missed and remembered on this special day. Pink carnations are the official flower of Mother’s Day, and a symbol of the purity, strength and endurance of a mother’s love. Flowers will be available on Saturday, May 10 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM (while supplies last).
Tie a ribbon on the Living Memory Tree
Take a moment to reflect and add a ribbon to Lakewood’s Living Memory Tree, a collective display of remembrance and love. Ribbons are available inside the Welcome Center.
Location
Stop in at our Welcome Center to pick up a carnation and ribbon. When you drive through Lakewood’s gates, take an immediate left and the Welcome Center will be on your right.
