Jo Pond

Jo Pond is a peaceful and serene water feature located within Lakewood’s 250 acres of rolling hills and beautiful landscape. A popular spot for nature lovers, this onsite lake offers benches and quiet open spaces to reflect along its wide shores.

This area serves as the site of our annual Lantern Lighting Celebration, and can also be used for private scattering services and memorial events. Nestled on the southeastern side of Jo Pond you will find the Garden of Serenity, which memorializes individuals who have chosen cremation.
