Tea with Tulips

Step into spring at Lakewood’s Tea with Tulips celebration, where vibrant blooms and peaceful surroundings create the perfect seasonal escape. Last fall, 50,000 tulip bulbs were carefully planted across the grounds and by early May, they’ll be bursting into color, transforming the landscape into a breathtaking floral display.

Take a relaxing evening stroll through the tulip beds while sipping thoughtfully crafted teas and enjoying sweet treats. Local vendors will be onsite offering tea samples, and COMPAS teaching artist Costanza Carballo will guide guests in a hands-on, tulip-inspired printmaking activity perfect for all skill levels.

As a special keepsake, the first 150 guests will receive a charming tulip-themed teacup to take home.

Come celebrate the beauty of the season, connect with your community, and experience Lakewood in full bloom.

The Bardo

The Bardo is an end-of-life home that focuses on restoring our relationship to death by living fully. The Bardo’s model focuses on reverence in the final weeks and days of life, tailored to what that looks like for each unique person and family. Care is informed by person-centered dignity care and uses integrative tools to create a holistic model supporting the hospice team. Surrounded by 40 acres of nature, we use all available resources to create a better experience for our guests and their families.

Northern Lights Tea Company

The Northern Lights Tea Company has been a part of the Minneapolis community since 2006, serving thoughtfully sourced loose leaf teas to locals and visitors alike. As we continue this journey, we’re slowly transitioning into a new name — Yutori — a word that speaks to the space and calm tea brings to everyday life. While the name may change, our commitment to quality, care, and connection remains the same.

Music by Minneapolis Jazz Guitar Duo

The Minneapolis Jazz Guitar Duo (MJGD) — featuring guitarists David Martin and Serdar G — brings a warm, sophisticated sound that blends timeless jazz tradition with fresh, modern interpretation. Centered around the intimate interplay of two guitars, the duo offers elegant renditions of jazz standards alongside jazzinfused takes on pop favorites, creating music that feels both familiar and unique.
