Private Guided Tours
Your group is welcome.
Lakewood is filled with history, art and architecture. One of our knowledgeable guides can lead your group on a fascinating tour.
Your group may choose a leisurely walking tour spanning about a half mile, or you may bring a private bus for a visit that winds throughout our beautiful 250 park-like acres. (Lakewood does not provide trolleys or buses.)
Along with our history, you’ll also learn about our status as a level 2 arboretum.
Information to know before scheduling a private tour:
- Private tours, for groups up to 30 people, are available for $200 per group. (This fee can be waived for school groups.)
- Tours may be scheduled:
- April – October
- Monday – Thursday
- 9 AM – 7 PM
- Tours are subject to Lakewood tour guide availability.
- Tours run approximately 75-90 minutes.
- Please note tours of the buildings, including the historic Lakewood Chapel, may not be available before 3 PM if a funeral is scheduled. To ensure you can visit the Chapel, please request a tour starting after 3 PM.
