At that early age, going to Lakewood to care for flowers was just a chore interrupting my childhood play time. Now looking back, it was much more than a chore, it was a lesson taught by my Grandmother to learn to memorialize our loved ones and keep them close to our heart. I cherish the peace and serenity that Lakewood offers its guests.
